Small actions, visible hope.

Sunny Side is a student-led platform for students who feel disconnected, overwhelmed, lonely, or left behind.

We believe small actions, creative expression, and gentle connection can help people slowly begin again.

I noticed that many students want help, but at the same time, they are exhausted by people.

Some feel left behind at school. Some become increasingly quiet because of bullying or loneliness. Some are simply told to "push through," even when they are barely holding on.

I wanted to create a space where students do not need grand motivation — just gentle connection and small movements to begin again.

Sunny Side is not a loud motivational space. It is a place to quietly catch your breath. Instead of pressure to be cheerful, it offers an honest, no-pressure atmosphere where people can feel, "I am allowed to be here too."

"It is okay to still feel sad. As long as there is even a quiet wish for happiness, you are still allowed to begin."

My Story

Sunny Side began from noticing students who looked quiet from the outside, but were carrying a lot inside. This space is for students who are tired of being told to just be okay, and need a softer way to start again.
